Helping you take care of your furry friends!
I’m a Professional dog trainer/behaviourist based in County Durham. I offer one-to-one dog training sessions, group dog training classes and behaviour modification/Obedience and preventative measures to ensure the relationship between you and your dog is the very best it can be. I travel all over the Country and can help train all types of dogs/sizes, using cutting edge proven techniques known as Neuroplasticity (Cortical remapping) from puppies to senior dogs. No job is to big and my methods are taught entirely in a positive reinforcement, reward-based system.
For over 5 years, we have been serving the pets and families in our local area. I thrive on seeing the cognitive development of dogs and seeing their negative behaviour become a thing of the past. I don't just train the dogs I train you to.
"The capacity for love that makes dogs such rewarding companions has a flip side: They find it difficult to cope without us. Since we humans programmed this vulnerability, its our responsibility to ensure that our dogs do not suffer as a result"
Dog Training Consultation

We take into consideration the dogs medical history, behavioural concerns, Traumas, incidences, diet, Exercise routine, how he/she spends their day, environmental issues etc.
Puppy Training
The best start for you and your Puppy.
Age from 16 Weeks - 10 Months
6 Week Puppy Training course.
Back to Basics
Age 6 Months+
This 4 week course is a basic training programme. It may be that your dog is new to you, or maybe that initial training has slipped away and you need to re-visit the basics. The course covers all the basics as taught in a puppy class but with more emphasis on focus.
One-to-One
One-to-one dog training means you and your dog will receive your trainer's total attention, meaning faster results than conventional classes and immediate help with any specific problems as well as general obedience. Putting in a good level of foundation obedience will mean your puppy grows up to be a model citizen adult.
Behavioural
Behavioural dog training focuses on modifying a dog's behaviour through positive reinforcement and consistent training techniques. We help you understand the principles of operant conditioning and our training ethos. Our approach emphasizes clear communication, patience, and consistency to teach dogs how to respond to cues, follow commands, and navigate social interactions. Behavioural dog training can address various common behaviour issues such as pulling on the leash, jumping up on people, excessive barking, or aggression. By promoting positive experiences and building a strong bond between the dog and the trainer, behavioural training methods help dogs learn appropriate behaviour while fostering trust and cooperation. Here at Who's Walking Who we assess the dog's behaviour, identify underlying causes for the issues, and develop customized training plans to address them.

Meeting with you, the new dog and current owners
Get expert advice, don't make the common mistake of choosing the wrong dog!
Here are some of the areas we cover during our consultation: Dog Demographics, Medical History, Socialization History, Daily Routines, Presenting Issues,
Bite History, Training, Diet, Environmental requirements.
The emphasis on these walks is to encourage dogs to be with each other, but not rely on interacting with each other constantly…. we aim to increase focus and connection with you, their handler, when there are other dogs and distractions about, so your dog learns that focusing on you pays off far more than running off to greet other dogs! We will also show you how to teach your dog not to chase joggers, cyclists, horse riders and livestock.
These are most often held in over 300 acres of private woodland, so they are also a great opportunity to enjoy a lovely dog walk in beautiful, secure surroundings, with other local dog owners, but we will also be able to discuss any problems you may be having, and work on specific aspects of training such as recall past each other, and loose lead walking past distractions.
These walks will be mainly on lead and are not, in general, suitable for dogs who have issues/aggression towards other dogs or people (although this will be decided on an individual basis) but we do also run the occasional reactive dog workshop and walk.
We also run specific “littlies” walks – solely for small breed dogs. Please contact us for further information or to express interest.
We love sharing our knowledge in helping address your dogs behavioural issues. Schedule right here on our site for a meet and greet, or to join one of our Training courses. If you have a special Dog Training request, send us a message, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Whether it be, Walking to Heel, Recall, Basic Obedience, Correcting Manners, Basic Commands, Toilet Training, Wait/Stay, Reactivity, Sit/Down, Daily Routines, Biting, Place (Bed) etc....
